San Felipe Pueblo Elementary School

San Felipe Pueblo Elementary School recognizes parents and guardians as valuable partners in helping students reach their full potential. As a team, we work together to design the most effective education plan for students. Research shows that strong partnerships between schools and families help students succeed academically.

Parents/guardians are students' first teachers and should remain involved in classroom learning. Family involvement in a student’s educational program, including extracurricular activities, helps students develop, and maintain lifelong learning habits. Students with parents/guardians involved in the learning process will experience significant gains and advantages to their academic performance.

Family involvement improves household literacy through reading initiatives, book fairs, and household libraries. We also operate a Parent Advisory Committee, offering several opportunities to visit our campus and teachers during activities like Parent Nights, Science Fairs, school board meetings, and more. Parents/Guardians are our students’ greatest assets and ensure their advancement through middle school, high school, and beyond.

Through our academic, athletic, and cultural programs, students are supported and prepared to become leaders in our Pueblo community. We invite families and community members to contribute their knowledge and support to San Felipe Pueblo Elementary School’s holistic curriculum. Through constant family and community involvement, our students will continue reaching their highest potential.
