Lesson in Fire Safety

Students at San Felipe Pueblo Elementary School recently received an important lesson in fire safety from Captain Shannon Farrel and Sandoval County Fire Rescue. They visited the school to teach students about fire behavior, what to do if they find themselves in a burning building, and how firefighters are trained to assist in emergencies. The demonstration was both educational and empowering, providing students with the knowledge and confidence to respond safely in hazardous situations.
