San Felipe Pueblo Elementary School Student Activities

At San Felipe Pueblo Elementary School, we are committed to providing our students opportunities to learn outside the classroom. We offer a variety of extra-curricular activities to enrich our students’ educational experience. Here are some activities students can participate in:

Student Council

Students in third through eighth grade can join the Student Council. This experience allows students to develop leadership skills and learn parliamentary procedures while positively impacting our school community.

Science Fair

Each year, San Felipe Pueblo Elementary School hosts a Science Fair. All students are encouraged to participate by designing and presenting their own science projects, and upper-grade students are required to participate, making this a fantastic opportunity to explore the wonders of science.

Spelling Bee

Our annual Spelling Bee is open to all students who want to showcase their spelling skills in a fun and competitive environment.

Field Trips

Field trips are an integral part of our learning curriculum. Before students can participate in these activities, parents/guardians must sign an official school permission form. While we love having parents join us, due to federal regulations, only students and staff are allowed on the bus. Parents are responsible for their transportation and expenses. We kindly ask parents to make arrangements to care for other siblings during the field trip, as they are not permitted to attend trips designated for specific grade levels. During field trips, students must follow all school rules and demonstrate their best behavior. Please make prior arrangements with the teacher if you need to check out your child during a field trip.

For more information about student activities, please get in touch with the school office.
